Coming soon: Target Greenland!
The project is progressing. Here’s the latest about Target Greenland:
All eyes on Greenland!
Target Greenland is evolving, and it’s getting longer and longer. It is a novel in three acts, and as I progress into Act II (November 2025), it has passed the 250-page mark.
It’s an action-packed novel inspired by the classic Tom Clancy-style technothrillers that defined the genre, with a slow burn and a couple of inciting incidents to kick it all off. There are a lot of moving parts, and a lot of characters, some of whom readers of my works will be familiar with. They are present with cameo roles for fun, not necessarily for the sake of continuity. Target Greenland is a stand-alone novel, albeit loosely connected/inspired by the Guerrilla Greenland stories, and the Guerrilla Greenland Extra series linked below.
Target Greenland is also a protest novel, in the same vein as an anti-war movie, i.e. it depicts and describes the very thing I am protesting – the potential ‘annexation’ of Greenland by the USA. By annexation I mean invasion. As you can see, there are no holds barred in Target Greenland. But neither is there any mention of real people. It is fiction, after all, and I truly hope it remains so.
As mentioned above, Target Greenland is in development. It is, however, possible for paid subscribers to read the first unpolished draft on my Substack page, released one chapter at a time, with several chapters published each week.
However, Target Greenland is also on Kickstarter, currently in pre-launch. You can sign up to follow it and be notified on launch via this link.
I’ll be sure to post more news about Target Greenland as the project progresses. You can see the current status of the project on the progress tracker* below.
70%*To follow the progress of the project, you will need to check out the page for novel, here.
It is also possible to purchase a pre-order of Target Greenland from my Payhip store. The book (epub, mobi and PDF) will be mailed to your inbox as soon as it is ready for release.
More soon!

Gumball Magic is LIVE!
I pushed the button on the Gumball Magic Kickstarter campaign! It’s LIVE, folks!
All paid Substack subscribers will get an eBook copy of the finished novel, even though chapters will continue to be released on Substack.
However, there are goodies, stretch rewards, and even a chance to get in on the action! Although those are being picked up very quickly!

Out today: Sherlock Holmes in Greenland!
Well, this has taken a long time. I took a deep dive into Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s world of Sherlock Holmes at the end of last year (2024) and the result has been over 140,000 words of Sherlock Holmes stories, including one novella: The Adventure of the Gallows Growler.
ACD’s characters and words are in the public domain, free for all to use, and I have enjoyed spending time with Holmes and Watson.
And… I sent them to Greenland!
There are two editions of The Adventure of the Gallows Growler. The standard edition is just the 150 page novella. The Kickstarter edition includes four additional short stories. I am putting them up on all platforms in eBook format and with some paperback options.
You can grab them today from Amazon for which I may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no cost to you:
The Adventure of the Gallows Growler STANDARD edition
eBook:
Amazon US
Amazon UK
Amazon Canada
Amazon Australia
The Adventure of the Gallows Growler KICKSTARTER edition

Amazon Australia
Or from my Payhip store, which includes a PDF option.
All backers of the Kickstarter campaign have now received their digital copies of The Adventure of the Gallows Growler, and the paperback edition is ‘in progress’ and soon to be shipped.
It’s all rather elementary from this point onwards.

On Substack! The Flyer
So, on the day I went to see Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning, I was inspired to write a story. I started before seeing the movie. After seeing the movie, I’m wondering if I would have had more fun staying home to finish the story? Anyway, if writing the story was fun, recording it was even more so. If you’re curious, click on this link to my Substack page to listen to chapter one for free!
As for Mission: Impossible… It wasn’t a bad movie, just a little boring, which, for an action movie, is probably bad. Nuff said.
