The year keeps moving forward, the earth keeps rotating, no matter what I have to say about it. Can't believe it's almost May already! I've been a busy reader and writer.

Everyone definitely needs to be reading David Mitchell He's the best novelist working today in my opinion. I'm currently reading Number9Dream and loving every word of it. number9dream

I've also completed several books lately, all by Rob Bell If you are interested in spirituality, Christianity, and philosophy, then I highly recommend his works. He also hosts a very popular podcast on iTunes. This guy has been very influential throughout my career. Books I've just finished reading by him recently are: Velvet Elvis, How To Be Here, & Drops Like Stars. Currently reading Sex God by him. Velvet Elvis: Repainting the Christian Faith How to Be Here: A Guide to Creating a Life Worth Living Drops Like Stars: A Few Thoughts on Creativity and Suffering Sex God: Exploring the Endless Connections Between Sexuality and Spirituality

For me, been busy on several different projects, all in different veins and genres. I have too much energy, don't like to focus on one project too long. Been busy of late. But saying such a thing is, at best, a moot point; we're all busy; however, sometimes busy can feel busier than at other times. Like most writers, I work a full-time job outside of writer and running a publishing company. Unlike most authors, I'm assuming, I work as a bedside hospital nurse, and as a nurse I am at the mercy of the moon. The moon, good fellow, has been waxing, so things have been chaotic. The myth is true: hospitals are run by lunar cycles. I didn't believe it when I was a rookie. I believe it now.

Other than all that, had a signing last Friday, and will have another one tomorrow promoting House of Denizens. Christopher M. Dance, the illustrator on that book, graciously invited me to the first two weekends/openings of his latest art exhibition. I will be in Fountain Square, Indianapolis, tomorrow night, from 7-10pm at the Circle South Gallery if you want to stop by.

And on top of THAT, we will be announcing the Kindle release of House of Denizens very very very soon, so keep your eyes open for that. So, as you can see, busy busy little bee. I haven't even seen my wife in weeks! Somebody sleeps in bed next to me, but that could be anybody. She says it's her, but I have my suspicions. I have to keep her FaceBook page up on my phone so I remember what she looks like :) Not really, but almost. A busy season, for sure. And somewhere in there in the middle of all that, in between the lines, squished into the tiny moments, I am still working on Threshold Sneaks and have every intention of delivering the March installment on time.

So far, my bibliography is full of horror, comedy, historical-fiction, and realism. This is my first venture into the realm of adventure/fantasy/time-travel. My first love. I hope you all enjoy. I decided to dedicate this work as monthly installments to my publishing company, StoryBox Creations, LLC, while I also work on several other projects. I'm thrilled to be able to do this and hope everyone enjoys this adventure.
