I became a true crime writer in 2014 after discovering a family secret about a murder. I researched the case thoroughly and uncovered a miscarriage of justice which I wrote about in my first book "The Rotherham Trunk Murder". Since then I have written another seven books and I specialise in investigating possible miscarriages of justice.

Hello Jeannette, I was intrigued by your book Falsely Accused and there was so many connections reading these cases that I found fascinated but saddened for the victims and their families. The Wallace case had me on the edge of my seat. When Bromborough came up it brought tears to my eyes because my sister lived there. The Spencer case was very disturbing. God Bless! This happened to me when I started working on a project about the murder of two little girls in Rotherham. I just couldn't get on with how to approach it so I left it, and wrote "Edwin, Adelaide and George" and another book that I have not yet published ("The South Croydon Poisonings) instead. Martyn Beardsley, a writer and editor that I have been in touch with, gave me a piece of advice which was like shining a light in the dark, so the project is now back on.
