All Be Forgotten

Hello everyone,

It's a really exciting time for me as the launch of my debut novel, As If I Were A River, approaches.

But the work must go on at the same time so I've been busy writing my second novel, which has a working title of All Be Forgotten, and is due to come out in late 2017.

I'm almost halfway through the first draft at the moment and it tells the story of Evie, who is an environmental activist and herbalist who faces persecution when she ends up living in an England that has reverted to medieval superstitions.

I think it's going OK at the moment but it's due to my editor in the first week of June so I'll find out soon enough when I get his feedback!

In the meantime, I was thrilled this week when a short story I had published at the beginning of the year, Fish in Tomato Sauce, was longlisted in the prestigious Ink Tears Short Story competition. You can read it here: http://numberelevenmagazine.com/fish-...

Hopefully the shortlist next time!
