added a status update: My new book, THE SHADOW OF THE WORLD-FAMOUS NINE, will be out 5/13. It's a sequel to 2024's THE WORLD-FAMOUS NINE, & it's tons of fun & chock-full of puzzles. Chock-full. Look here, from Wiktionary, & only semi-helpful: "From Middle English chokkeful (“crammed full”) c. 1400, possibly from choke (“cheek”), equivalent to cheek + full. Or it may be from Old French choquier (“collide, crash, hit”), similar to shock."

Hi Megan, For now, I'm not planning a fourth book in the Winterhouse series--my hope is that THE WINTERHOUSE MYSTERIES, the final book in the trilogy, was a satisfying conclusion to the set! I do have more books coming, though. In fact, THE WORLD-FAM
