Nick Younker spent twenty years working in local and national media. After transitioning from television to online journalism, he now pursues work solely in dark fiction and satire.

With the exception of his debut novel, Nick focuses his work on short stories and novellas drafted in Grunge Narrative style. His dominant influences in literature are novelists like Palahniuk, Sedaris, Spanbauer, Hempel, Larsson, Blatty, Chabon, Blackwood, Bukowski, CJ Leede and Gabriella Coleman. Lyrical influences include Cobain, Vedder, Springsteen, Jett, Hetfield, Hendrix, Morrison and Roky Erickson.

He's spent most of his life in Southern Indiana, excluding three years in Atlanta working for Turner Entertainment Group.

I've decided not to leave any more negative reviews of books I didn't like. It's not fair to the author nor his/her potential suitors for their enjoyment. I haven't decided whether I will leave a star rating in this circumstance, but I'm leaning toward not doing this either.
