Sneak Peaks? Wanna Help?

To everyone who has been waiting for Lyrics of Longing, it is still coming! Look, I even have a cover to share:

For those that don’t care about the reasons for the delay, you can skip the following wall-of-text…

Sorry for being MIA! I’ve been drowning in life’s obligations for the past six months. They always say that death comes in threes, and wouldn’t you know it? Right after my grandma passed, then my beloved dog passed, and then my other grandmother passed. All this while navigating the holidays, a full time job, raising a new puppy, and studying full time at college. The good news is – nobody else has died in the past month, I graduated from college (sort of), the new puppy is finally potty trained and sleeping through the night, and I don’t start grad school until August. Which means I have four whole months to write as much as I can. The past six months were so full of grief and stress that I spent most of my free time reading instead of writing.

Now, for the super good news! I’ve moved my drafting to Wattpad!

This way curious eyeballs can watch the progress as it unfolds (and for free!). Then, once the book is complete and fully edited, I’ll move the final draft from Wattpad to Amazon Kindle.

So feel free to do whatever – chat me up on Wattpad, yell at me/gently point out my typos, (cough) sharemystorieswithyourfriends (cough), and maybe even leave me a review.

Anyways, here’s the link:

Phew. Delays. Life happens.

People are getting understandably impatient. I swear Jake’s story is coming. Life slapped me in the face and now I’m 8 weeks behind schedule. For those thinking I’m just being lazy, my grandmother died. Like for real. Been dealing with the funeral, the estate sale, the family visits, moving furniture, preparing her house for renters, fending off the vultures. It’s been a nightmare.

But I’m back now, so here are some tidbits to hopefully make people a bit happy while they wait for me to finish up the manuscript.

Jake’s love interest is named Lauren, and his book is titled ‘Lyrics of Longing’.
His book is half flashback, half in the present. We get a closer look at the events surrounding his past and what brought on his cynical view of love and relationships.
His story will take place immediately after the events of Rock My Beat.
Jimmy and Jenna’s story is not over. Rock My Beat was merely the beginning of how that crazy duo started their adventure together. We’ll see more of them in Lyrics of Longing.

God I miss my boys and I can’t wait for you all to know Jake a bit better. My poor emotional boy with a cracked heart of gold.

Recent Questions and Answers

Are you going to write Jake’s story?

Yes! Yesssssss. Bless his poor broken heart. We’ll fix him right up. Don’t you worry.
Release date TBD, but expected this fall (around October). I’ll put up a pre-order page on Amazon as soon as I know when!

Are you going to write Dean’s story?

This poor party boy is going to have a serious rough and tumble. Growing up playing sports, living in a frat house, and then touring with the band – he’s always been a part of a team and has never really needed anyone but his boys for company. What’s he going to do when his bandmates are all cozy and distracted with their new relationships and suddenly he’s the odd man out? He’s never had to deal with boredom or loneliness before, and he’s not ready to settle down yet either. Some people will fight the inevitable until breaks them.
I’ll be starting on Dean’s story right after I finish up with Jake’s story. Should be out around Early January 2017.

What are you currently working on?

I’ve been dicking off, working on three other standalone books simultaneously, when I started getting messages with readers demanding more Jake and I decided to shelve those other stories for a later date. Right now, Jake has my undivided attention. You readers are seriously thirsty for that boy (and I totally don’t blame you).
If you want to be a beta reader or an ARC reader, message me! There is a contact page above. It works. I’ll respond. I promise.
