Jessica Lipowski is the author of Flavors of Life (2016). Jessica, originally from Detroit, Michigan and a graduate of Michigan State University, moved to the Netherlands in February 2011. With previous journalistic work published on 10Best.com (part of USAToday) and in The Washington Times, she is now an author and lives in Los Angeles. The book, in combination with Jessica’s past work experience, travels, and life as an expat, has enabled her to view food, travel, and culture through a different lens.

Happy Anniversary Los Angeles: A LAnniversary to Remember

Today is my one-year anniversary of living in the greater Los Angeles area, or as I like to call it, my LAnniversary. Exactly one year ago, I boarded the plane in Detroit, Michigan. Hugging my family goodbye and wiping away the tears, yet brimming with excitement as I embarked on yet another adventure, I started the next chapter of my life.
