Digital ID: the line in the sand
2025 Digital ID. Just leaving this here for reference. When the government force digital ID upon us, TyLean and I have decided that we shall not comply. Digital ID is the line in the sand, the hill to die on. Digital ID will then open the door for digital money, which will mean total control over everyone. We will not comply. I’m posting this here for when we are “no longer part of society”…

Jeepurs Devon Rex & Siamese Cats
This was an intro to the pictures of the cats on my old personal website. It’s info people have searched for a lot and therefore I’m putting it online again. NOTE: Jeepurs is no longer an active breeder. When I was a kid our household was prey to many kittens running about. Many pedigree lines feature a Jeepurs cat. The name came from the family Christian names: JustinElaineEdward (Me…
Adlestrop by Edward Thomas & my thoughts on it
Yes, I remember Adlestrop — The name, because one afternoon Of heat the express-train drew up there Unwontedly. It was late June. The steam hissed. Someone cleared his throat. No one left and no one came On the bare platform. What I saw Was Adlestrop — only the name And willows, willow-herb, and grass, And meadowsweet, and haycocks dry, No whit less still and lonely fair Than the high cloudlets…

Though the kingfishers looked
Very old poem but I’m not sure when I wrote it. Perhaps 2011, not sure. This was published in a collection. Though the kingfishers looked So beautiful; specks of shocking blue Against the dead green and dark water They chased each other like in love — And you said, “they are us.” But what I saw was food Clenched in a beak and The chase was not love But hunger Their blue so fleeting…
The train rattled
Very old poem, one of the oldest I still have as the others before this were lost. No idea when I wrote it maybe 2010. The event it talks about was 1995. The train rattled through the golden green countryside The sun was washing the colours bright Of the green leaves and huge golden fields Nothing felt better than bathing in the joy Of leaving the city of noise and pollution Back into…
Dry Golden
Very old poem, one of the oldest I still have as the others before this were lost. No idea when I wrote it maybe 2010 Far away I remember the fields, Dry golden, Days when the corn was taller than us, And we trampled the crop to make rooms, Sometimes naked, Ah such is life. And later the fields were gone, Houses and rooms, Cars and roads, And we were not innocent, The golden dry rooms…
Jungle
2014 Sweat bees cling to our faces and get in our ears as we cut large leaves to sit on placed over the stinging bugs on the ground. And we sit eating and aching with thick mud on our boots And plucking leeches from the pulled up socks Our dried food is hard to eat and washed down with stale water that we have carried for hours. Black fly and mosquitoes bite our flesh and then monkeys…
