One of the best collections I've read. It's brilliant how he expresses so much with what is not said. Much of the collections deals with the theme of alcoholism, but it's done so subtlely, without preaching or melodrama. Quite effective ...more

My second Terry Pratchett experience was not nearly on the same tier as my first (Going Postal 5 stars). It wasn't bad, but the characters, weren't memorable for me, and I struggled at times to follow the crime/conspiracy plot at the book's core. ...more
