A revised edition was published by Kingston Park Publishing, January 2021.

It took four years (to within a couple of weeks) between Fran first suggesting to me that we might write a book about how it is to support a friend who lives with mental illness, and the book's official launch on October 1 (Fran's birthday). That included writing a book proposal -- which took us a long time as it was the first time we had ever done that, though it really helped us clarify the likely audience for our book, and home in on what we were offering readers -- and submiting to a number of agents and publishers before we found our perfect match with Nordland Publishing. In that time we also grew our social media platform and network of connections (both online and off).(less)
