DEVASTATED by her English Professor’s comment that “there's a story inside every one of us except you”, Rønalditå “Ronnie” Turnipp initially cast aside her literary aspirations. She fled to a remote Siberian island and served as a lighthouse keeper and seaweed farmer for 30 years, with only walruses for company. After finding that these charming, but sadly misunderstood creatures were wildly enthusiastic about the stories she read aloud to them during the freezing winter evenings she began writing her first novel—and has never looked back since (or forward either).

Ronnie Turnipp is widely regarded as the Number One Siberian, lighthouse-keeping, seaweed-farming author in the world.
