I began my career as an insurance agent in 2009 after graduating from Vanderbilt University, where I had the wonderful opportunity to play baseball under Coach Tim Corbin. I have a degree in Economics & Corporate Strategy - a somewhat humorous irony considering I am now on a career path which has nothing to do with either of those things.

My writing endeavor got its start in 2015, following the death of my beloved mother. The lessons and world views she instilled during my life as I grew and developed maintain a strong thematic presence throughout much of my work.
