You might say it is our first book tour but the original intention was to visit family in Colorado. The trip evolved into something more when we decided to attend and sell my new book at (get this) The Hobo convention in Britt, Iowa. I wonder how many copies we will sell there? Another highlight we have planned is meet with the real Marvin the Rancher, one of the characters in my new book.

The book will available via Amazon on July 4th which is coming up real soon.

My book release party will be on July 16th at 6:30 p.m. in Dearborn, Michigan.

My name is Dan Grajek, the author of The Last Hobo. Based on my real-life story, it's about a 19-year-old man who acts out his dream of being a hobo by thumbing (and hopping trains) across the U.S. Set in the year 1979, it's an epic adventure for the young and young-at-heart. It’s a delicious feast for 1970s (and 1960s) nostalgia buffs. But the book's overarching theme is America.
