I had to share this.  I met Bea Dubya at one of my book signings/discussions at The Barnes & Noble in Reno Nevada.  Now when a fan goes to this length to show up at my appearance, on her vacation then read & review my novel, investing her time, I had to post it!  There's no such thing a a coincidence!

An over the top successful East Coast book tour is in the books.  I began my tour @ the B&N in Kingston NY, welcomed with open arms.  I switched gears Sunday and appeared at the B&N in North Haven CT.  The hospitality continued throughout my tour taking me next to B&N Waterbury CT.  Palisades B&N began my final weekend, followed up by B&N Stamford CT and last but certainly not least, B&N Danbury Square CT.The amount of quality people I was able to meet and interact with, exceeded all of my expectations. The conversations surrounding my book brought about such a positive flow of conversation I'm truly appreciative.I would have to say my final destination was the icing on the cake for me.  For the first time my parents came to see me sign and discuss my novel.  Having them join me on my last day was something I'll always treasure.The sequel to El Güero is being finalized.   knowing me I'll be re-writing it a couple more times but know it's forth coming.  I look forward to meeting more lovers of literature!!

I've just returned from my Sacramento California Book Tour and had to share some of the moments that made this trip an overwhelmingly popular success.  First signing/discussion was at Barnes & Noble Arden Fair and what a welcoming location.  The staff was excellent and customers so heartfelt!The second day of my Book Tour was at Barnes & Noble Roseville.  I was assigned a couple of staff members to help me with my event and was afforded every luxury at this amazing location.  One customer after another made my day unbelievably successful.Day three had me at Barnes & Noble Natomas!  Before I arrived and days before my event the staff had my novel on the shelf and printed up a one sheet about myself and my novel.  Now that's what I call professionalism.My final signing/discussion was at The Avid Reader an Independent Book Store doing great things in the community!

Saturday 8/27/16, I had another Book signing/discussion, this time @ The Barnes & Noble in Las Vegas Nevada, 2191 Las Vegas Blvd.  A complete sell out of my novel was a blessing, all do to the customers of this location that were so engaging and genuine.  I so enjoyed discussing how my novel came about, the personal side of me that I poured into my work and a little bit of what's coming next.  Here are some pictures from this event as I look forward to my upcoming Sacramento C.A. portion of my book tour beginning 9/2-9/5.  Information is on my upcoming events section!  See you there, bring your friends!

I had the privilege of being interviewed by Crystal Flanagan.  She's not only a talented author but a crusader by providing uplifting motivational content to the world.  I was honored to have her interview me and speak on my novel.  Crystal's poignant questions touched on aspects of my novel as well as some personal insights that I had been waiting to speak out on.  From my main character T-(El Güero's) faith to my inspiration for writing El Güero.  Follow Crystal's online Christian motivational blog @fruitfulconcept.com.

Today was such a blessing to be a part of a benefit to support The Alzheimer's Association of Las Vegas.BooksOrBooksof Las Vegas, an amazing independent bookstore, hosted this event and they couldn't of been more accomodating.  Kim, as always was the consummate host who's passion is the reason why so many love her and her bookstore.  Stephen Murray set this event up and did a knock out job.  The time flew by and some great money was raised for this useless disease.   I had such a great time talking to fellow authors and customers alike.  Alan Geik and his wife were such a pleasure to speak to.  The bottom line is BooksOrBooks just feels like home.  Thank you!
