Alpha's Bane Release Day plus teaser!
The release day for Alpha’s Bane is drawing near and I cannot wait to share it with you!
First, I can confirm the release date will be the 17th September and, hey, you can even come along to the Release Day Party (it’s on Facebook, you just have to grab your party hats and (virtually) come along!). Are you as excited as I am?

I’ve barely slept this past week with everything I need to do before hitting that beautiful “publish” button. I never thought I’d come close to pressing that button. But there you have it. To all my teachers and friends in high school who doubted me, even my sister, shit’s getting real baby and I’m so friggin’ excited!
Second, I have some AMAZING art work to share with you. Everything was designed by Jay at Simply Defined Art (have you seen my new book cover? Guh, just look at it; it’s so purty I’m gonna die!), and I absolutely love her work. I have 2 teasers coming to you – one of which is super sexy and I love the quote to go with it. On another, Kiba related note (because let’s be fair, I’m going to be talking about my wolf a lot on this blog), the fluffy puppy is beginning to put on weight again and has slowly returned to his normal diet after months of uneasiness.
And, did I mention that I’m travelling the US next spring?

“It gets dark around here real quick, kid. We’ll be lucky if we get five hours a day worth of sunshine.” He stood up and gazed at me. I was leaning against the shabby door frame, giving him my dumbest look. “We’ll have to stay here until the snow settles. And don’t give me that look. I don’t know how long that will be either. Tonight? Tomorrow? Who knows? But what I do know is that I need something to eat.”
He gave me a bold stare, eyes raw with need.
“You eat meat, kid?”
“I’m vegetarian.”
Noah burst out laughing.
“Indeed you are,” he said as he yanked open the front door. Whether by his strength or the sheer rustiness of the entire cabin, the door handle fell off in his grasp. Noah scratched his beard, and then tossed it unceremoniously to the side. “I’ll see what I can do. Maybe find you some leaves to nibble on or something. There’s a kettle over there in the kitchen, and a first aid kit. Why don’t you bandage your head and try to heat yourself up?” Wait, my head was bleeding? “Or paint your nails. Steep your feet for all I care. Do whatever you want. Just do not leave this cabin.”
He smirked and then left. A gust of wind followed in his wake, and with a hasty puff, it slammed the front door shut.
“Everything’s a fucking joke to that guy,” I grumbled, childishly sulking my way into the open-planned kitchen.
