David E. Barber grew up in the Midwest, surviving childhood on a steady diet of fantasy, science fiction, and horror books, movies, and comics. Inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, Robert E. Howard, George R.R. Martin, and countless others, he began writing stories of his own and is currently hard at work on his next novel. He lives in Colorado.

The dead are rising in rural Wisconsin

A few months ago I heard about a comic book series called Revival, and that it had been optioned for a SYFY television series. How did I miss this? Me being me, I hit my local comic shops, bought all the back issues, and read the entire series in a frenzy. It was fantastic, and I’ve been looking forward to seeing the new show ever since.
