Kingdom of Ashes is out!
Lovely bookish people! Today is my big day! Kingdom of Ashes is out and waiting for you to grab it!!!

Those of you who pre-ordered or won a giveaway will soon have fun gifts flying their way :)

One thing I learned about giftwrapping: Getting four different small chocolates per person instead of a single big one wasn’t my best idea :D

Takes forever to assemble. Note to self: Just get big chocolates next time. Easy to wrap and people will be happier :D
Thanks for sharing this journey with me <3 Happy reading!

Giveaway prizes mailed!
2780 participant, 1 winner. Congratulations to Erica! Your signed book and postcards are in the mail!

I've also sent out all prizes from the pre-order giveaway. I don't want to imagine what the poor lady working at the post office thought when I showed up with a huge backpack, opened it, and poured 11 parcels, addressed to 10 different countries, on the counter :D
Enjoy your gifts!

"Mixing the post-apocalyptic with the medieval, describing with vivid (and sometimes morbid) details a blood culture that creeped you out but also fascinated you, [Elena May] managed to capture your attention, to drive you insane with the desire to sink your teeth into this disturbingly delicious book that was not coloured in black and white, but in every shade of grey you can imagine. [...] Kingdom of Ashes was a pleasant surprise, and I highly recommend it to paranormal lovers who are looking for a promising new author!"

“Nightfall - Little Bird” by Fleur
I’m listening to one sweet, beautiful and epic melody on repeat right now, and you know why? One insanely talented Goodreader, Fleur, has composed a song based on Myra’s Little Bird from Chapter 10!

One of the main themes in Kingdom of Ashes is the human need to create art. So when I started writing, I had one dream in mind, one dream, that mattered to me more than anything else. I hoped my book would inspire readers to create, be it fanart, fanfic, music videos or anything at all. I felt that the moment this happened for the first time, I would have accomplished what I had set out to do. But never in my wildest dreams had I imagined someone would compose a melody!
Perhaps it’s because out of all art forms, music is the one where my talent is the tiniest, and where I wish it were the greatest. Whenever I try to create anything music-related, I feel like Tristan when he tries to paint or write again – I need it, but then I try, and it just doesn’t work. Maybe that’s why it never occurred to me the first Nightfall-inspired piece of art would be a song. And now I couldn’t be happier about it!

Enjoy and make sure you tell the artist what you think!

Please include the following:
- Your preferred format (mobi, epub or pdf)
