The Tree and Me
When were we so upset about our lives? Where stands our purpose? How do we understand things? Perhaps that's a beautiful thought: Questions are more interesting then an answer. Possibility of entering a new horizon is a complexity that dwells energy in our frame of head. It appears to me, and to all, that the tree I have been looking right from my childhood was marvelous and extraordinary. I looked at the tree considerably each day lending my precious time to it. I cherished it while the tree stood proudly and in hot, warm air it blew like bird gifted with wings just this moment. One day then, I had this strange thought. It was very strange. The thought was: Years have passed and how could you be so sure that you live with this tree that is there? I ignored the thought. Well! Not everything is given ears to confront. But it was too hard a question to ignore. The solution was yet simple. It was very simple. Just know how the tree is! What was most difficult was HOW? Probably a nightmare that ruins many of our days that end up unanswerable to this 'why'. I was disappointed. The tree was mine. Outside my house. Everyday I had watched the tree. Lived with it. Exchanged air. Rested in its galloping, calm winds upon my face and one 'Why' just took everything away. Just then upon a rainy day, I climbed the tree. I had climbed the same tree multiple of times. Endless times when I spent hours just dozing off. But that day, I reached to the top. The highest branch. Like I never did prior to that time. There, I found the answer to my why? The tree didn't speak but I got my answer. Everything that is there is first inside our heart. While I was on top of the tree, unlike previous times I mustered not to go back down just because I have climbed it and lost interest in going further up. That time from top, I looked around to the world. It was beautiful. Nothing was wrong with world. The ground that had a lot of insects creeping was certainly beautiful. And over a distance, the moon with its dark stains and dull light was still beautiful. I stood on my firm legs and let all my fears pour down. The tree revealed to me the eternal truth. The truest understanding. Nothing comes without pain. That's a price we have to unavoidably pay. And the price is a meager to what enlarged it gifts us back. From top, I saw that world was true and absolute. The world had nothing to hide with the tree as it could not speak but just feel. In return, it never made it weak. Again In gratitude, I was never the same anymore. The tree wasn't just the same for me anymore.
