Hi Lucyjust been having a look at your memoir on Amazon - sounds really interesting. As the grand-daughter of an ex-pat Scot who made his career in the colonial service in India between the wars (in forestry) and as my mother lived there until she was eight (and was then sent back home to school in Edinburgh) I can relate somewhat to your family story!
Will put it on my reading list.
