Think like you are a vicious carnivore who hasn't eaten in days. You finally find a meal and devour it in seconds.

Now, instead of a carnivore, you're a writer. Write like it feeds you. It doesn't matter if it makes sense put the words down. Carry on like you'll die if you stop.

When you're hungry, you write. Thirsty, write. Angry, write. Joyful, write.

Get words on the monitor like anyone of them could shield your family from an imminent attack.

Write and don't stop writing.

Okay, if I can go to any fictional book world:
I would start in Krynn, train as a white robed wizard and if I made it through the crap that happens there become an Archmage and live out my days being awesome and training other mages.

But I couldn't stay in just one world. After this, travel to the Harry Potter world where I would be a Wizard doctor of some sort curing squibs of their condition. Magic is always the answer, I don't care what the question is. If you don't have magic, you don't have the cure.

Then, to a galaxy far far away, becoming a Jedi healer would be an ultimate bonus to the resume.

Probably six or seven worlds later, I would end at Narnia hanging with either Lucy or Peter NEVER Susan. I think that works for retirement.
