Vibes From the Screen is set for official publication on August 23rd. I will be doing several film festivals in September and October. The entire process of writing and publishing has been a really interesting experience. Since I completed writing I have discovered so much more that could have been included. But then it wouldn't be a beginners guide. That was always my intent. I wanted to take some of the material found in film school textbooks and put it into layman terms and help the non expert movie enthusiast get more enjoyment from films. By adding the filmmakers own perspectives on their craft I hoped to provide clarity as to the images and sounds viewers experienced.
