Kathy Brandon love of nature and beauty began as a child and gave her energy and joy. This love just grew as she had her family and became immersed in the community, growing her own foods, and exploring so many trails, she came to appreciate the beauty of nature at a deeper level. Her deep passion for reading, started with some of her favorite re-aloud picture books, Madeline, Curious George, and Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel and so many more.

When Kathy became an educator, it was an easy transition to spread the joy of reading to students of all ages, knowing that there was a genre and book out there for every child to delve into with enthusiasm. Opening the pages of a book is the start of a brand new adventure for children.
