David Murrow wrote his first short story, The Beautiful Star, at the age of seven. No trace of this lost masterpiece of shit remains, pulped and recycled, he hopes, into copies of his favourite novels, The Catcher in the Rye, maybe, or Tropic of Cancer or The Bell Jar or American Psycho or Invisible Monsters or The Unconsoled...

Frustrated at having to stick to a structure when writing songs, David started writing free verse poetry in his teens, and still occasionally performs his work around London's open mic circuit. A trilogy of poetry collections, Spilt Milk, Circle Line and Red Wine, was published in 2017.
