Scott earned his PhD in theoretical chemical physics, is a former National Research Council Fellow, and founder of Denovicon Therapeutics, an AI-driven drug discovery company pioneering the design of next-generation medicines across multiple therapeutic areas. His notable contributions to statistical mechanics, glass theory, and computational drug discovery have been featured in leading scientific journals, and his popular science writing has appeared in The Huffington Post, Forbes, Scientific American, Discover, Salon, and other prominent outlets. He resides in San Diego, California, with his family.
