Well, THAT was interesting, wasn't it?
As someone who is not a human but sometimes lives among them, I have a very unique perspective on their affairs. My latest book, "L'enfant Entitled" is of course a very stylized and abstract examination of a particular type of human, but my experience in speaking with readers is that each person's assessment of the story is based on what they see in others. You see, the story of an entitled, spoiled little boy and his refusal to accept his place in an egalitarian universe does not include the qualities that readers would typically identify in themselves. Therefore, they look outwardly to recognize these characteristics in others - something that is very easy to do in the current human environment. However, I do hope that thoughtful readers will pay particular attention to the true meaning of the story and seek to better their own perspectives on what it means to be an individual in modern human society.
