Now retired after too many years as an IT Business Analyst, I live in Stratford-upon-Avon, with my wife and Molly, a squeaking black-and-white cat. We feed birds and hedgehogs in our garden, along with a fox that drops by for dinner.

Reflecting upon various unexplained incidents in my past, I wove dramatically exaggerated versions into my debut novel.

I decided to use a pseudonym for this new career and rejected some grandiose ideas. Still wondering which one to use before going on holiday, I opened my passport and my place of birth stood out - so Michael Wordsley replaced Mike Cooper for the exciting adventure.
