Su obra No somos tu clase de gente se adjudicó el Premio Nacional Aurelio Espinosa Pólit de Novela 2017. Su libro de cuentos Fábrica de maleante y otras vidas imaginarias obtuvo una mención de honor en el XX Concurso Nacional de Literatura 2018 “Luis Félix López”, de la CCE-Núcleo Guayas. La ruta de las imprentas, su ópera prima, fue finalista del Premio Latinoamericano a Primera Novela Sergio Galindo y se publicó en 2015 en la Universidad Veracruzana de México. En el mismo año, su cuento “Visca el Barshe” apareció en la revista Nagari de Miami; en 2014 dos cuentos suyos formaron parte de la antología Los que verán: nuevos cuentistas ecuatorianos, de Alejandría Editorial.
