Born in Coledale, PA and raised in NJ. Lived in NYC for about 7 years. Met my husband in 1978 and married in 1985. Have been happily married ever since! Now, we live in beautiful Mesa AZ.

Author of "The Mons Connection" and "Infected and Other Short Stories" as well as short stories in the SciFi / Occult / Horror genre(s) and an upcoming paranormal / occult series.

I was always interested in science fiction, action adventure and comedy. Tried my hand at writing a book back in the 1970's but did not have the direction I needed in order to complete it. The story was going along great until one day while I was sitting at my typewriter (remember those?) and the thought suddenly struck me that I had no idea where I was going with the story or how

Sometimes, I'll just wonder "What if...", and an idea will emerge, other times, I might see something, and that will spark an idea. For instance, in December, I was driving my niece to Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, after her visit, and we stopped at a gas station for gas. While I was filling the car, my mind started to wander, and I wondered what would happen if someone started spilling gasoline all over the place (I know...weird and perhaps a bit morbid, but I do write horror, after all). That thought process inspired what I thought was going to be the opening scene of the book I am currently working on. As it turned out, when I started to actually write the book, I had a much better opening scene in mind and what I THOUGHT was going to be the opening scene actually takes place at the beginning of chapter 3.(less)

Review of "Ghosts of Bliss Bayou" by Jack Massa

Ghost of Bliss Bayou by Jack Massa

Ghosts of Bliss Bayou by Jack Massa was a very enjoyable book. It's the story of a young teenager in NJ, who seems to have some psychological "issues". Her natural father had passed away, and her mother had remarried. She gets along well with her new father, so that is not the issue.

School has ended, and summer vacation is beginning. Her mother informs her that they will be going to London for Read more of this blog post »
