Have you heard the great news about the television adaptation of Are You Sleeping? Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine and Chernin Entertainment are developing a series based on the book for Apple's new streaming network! There's some major talent attached: Octavia Spencer is set to star, Nichelle Tramble ("The Good Wife," among others) will write, and Sarah Koenig (host and co-creator of "Serial") will consult.

I imagine it goes without saying, but I am totally over the moon about this news! Every author dreams of seeing their books come to life, and I'm excited to see how AYS is translated for the screen. To have so many phenomenally talented women associated with the project is icing (the most incredible icing!) on the cake!

I have the best news! Apple ordered a 10-episode series of ARE YOU SLEEPING, meaning that the book will officially be coming to life on your screens! I'm so, so thrilled — I absolutely cannot wait to see what the incredible team working on the adaptation comes up with!
