Hi, thanks for asking and thank you for watching This Writer's Life!

One thing that might help is sequestering your phone and setting a timer for, say, 15 minutes to focus on writing. I try to write (or otherwise work on a project) for at least one hour every day and it's amazing how much you can accomplish in a relatively short amount of time.

Another tip is to set out on a walk (or bike ride, etc.) with the intention of thinking about your work in progress. Walking is a big part of my writing process and movement always lights up my story brain. Then, when I'm done with the walk, I'm amped and excited to write down what I thought about (and made voice memos about) as soon as I can get to it, which also helps keep up momentum.

Do let me know if these are helpful! Best of luck! (less)
