I grew up in the far North of Ireland, on Donegal's Inishowen Peninsula. Inishowen overlooks breath taking scenery and is surrounded by majestic bodies of water. The wild Atlantic Ocean is flanked on either side by Lough Swilly and Lough Foyle.

Donegal is rugged and unspoiled, much like the people and it proves to be a natural canvas for any type of artist. It is where I found my inspiration to write poetry and short stories, as a young lad.

Although poetry was always my first love, I would often wonder if I had a book "in me." I would later come to find out, that in fact, I did. "The Big Yank - Memoir of a Boy Growing Up Irish," is my first commercial venture and will be followed by a sequel, which will depict my adult years after I went out
