Writer and speaker, Lynne Hartke, is the author of "Under a Desert Sky: Redefining Hope, Beauty, and Faith in the Hardest Places." Lynne is also a contributing author to nine books with Guideposts Publications. She is the creator of Legacy Story Circle and the monthly newsletter, "Wonder*FULL."

As a breast cancer survivor, Lynne was named a Voice of Hope with the American Cancer Society in 2018. She has been a story coach with several nonprofits, helping others share their valuable stories. An avid hiker, Lynne still finds it challenging to keep up with her four grown children and four grandchildren. She is married to Pastor and Mayor Kevin Hartke.

Secrets. Lost history. A missing past. The river keeps many things from the main character, biologist, Hildy. I found myself hoping she would find all that matters on the banks of that same river as I turned the pages. Beautiful Story.
