Ruthless Mafia Boss is Live!

My main priority as the mafia boss is protecting my queen.LUCAWhen I first laid eyes on Lexis as a boy those dark brown eyes and her pretty brown skin drew me in. I had to meet her.Get close to her. Remain close to her. We became best friends. I consoled her when she felt abandoned by her mother. My father dropped a bomb in my lap when I was sixteen. I learned I’d become the next mafia boss of the Esposito’s. Dad said I needed to let her go. Her grandmother told her to run away from me and don’t look back. She had no idea I sank my teeth into the mahogany beauty a long time ago. She’s mine. There wasn’t a chance I’d ever give her up. Then the unexpected happened. Lexis ran. Why would she run away from our life?If any of my enemies were behind her leaving they will pay.

Cold Hearted Doctor by my pen name Zoe Blaze is here!

OliverDr. Hopkins thinks she can come to my town and boss me around. Think again.A pretty face and tight curves had burned me in the past. Won’t let those ocean blue eyes steal my soul. Nope, won’t give in to her. Working next to her every day won’t be easy.My soon to be sister-in-law asked me to show her doctor friend around town.Every time we’re in close proximity, we bite each other’s heads off.I can’t stand Dr. Hopkins and she can’t stand me.The other head didn’t get the memo. How will I survive seven months of staring into those eyes? Will I give into the sassy doctor?SashaI thought I’d arrive in Cole Mountain and receive a warm welcome from Dr. Cole.Oh, no. I don’t think this man has ever been nice to anyone.During our first standoff, I felt myself melting under his devilishly handsome stare. No, Sasha, don’t let him see how he affects you. And Anastasia thought it would be a good idea to have Dr. Grumpy show me around town.I don’t think so.There’s no way I’ll last seven months working next to the gorgeous lumberjack of a doctor. The way he cares for his patients thaws the ice around my heart. No, I won’t give in to the brooding Dr. Cole.“Sasha, I don’t normally do this. But I need it.” My lips circled her clit.“Oliver, don’t stop,” she cried.I sucked the pink nub into my mouth. Pulling back, I peeked at her. “Sasha, what have you brought into my house?”“What?” The breathless word left her soft lips.“You taste sweet, like sugar cane.” I sucked her pussy like I slurped down my last drink.“Damn. I’ve never felt like this before,” Sasha admitted.“Me either. I hate how I feel right now.”“Out of control?” she quizzed.“Yes. I don’t want to stop eating your pussy, Sasha.”“Check out of the hotel, Sasha. I want you to stay at my house. I’m not asking you to sleep in my bed. Your pussy is my new addiction.”“Oliver, I need your tongue every night.”“Good, we’re on the same page.”

The entire series

I have it bad for my grumpy boss.

Mr. Mavis is thirty-five. He shouldn’t be grumpier than an old man complaining about the summer heat.

I witness his tender side when his daughter’s around.

I’ve watched the grump from afar for years.

I’m the reason he’s the way he is.

As much as I want a second chance with him, I know that can’t happen.

Secrets, lies, and tragedy keep us apart.

From USA Today bestselling author, Posey Parks, comes a dark mafia romance story.

Revenge stormed our mafia kingdom before my very eyes.

Ryah

I was to sit on the throne with my prince, Rocco Andrisani.

That dream came to a screeching halt in Barbados.

Hell has no fury like a woman scorned.

Everyone will suffer for the pain that fills my heart.

I’m out for blood.

I’ll sit at my father’s side and control the mafia underworld. But I’ll do it my way.

I’ll walk through the streets and crush the enemies of the four families with the heels of my stilettos.

I am the new Donna.

All Hail the Queen.

Rocco

My need for revenge blurred my vision.

Taking Levi out cost me the most precious gift I ever had.

Will Ryah ever forgive me?

Will we run the throne as one unit or divided?

Lunchtime Chronicles: Red Moscato Chapter One

Hello!

Here is the first chapter of Red Moscato. I’ve shared Axl & Eden’s backstory with the Coffee Contributors. If you’d like to gain access here’s the link to buy me coffee: Coffee Contributors.

CHAPTER ONEEDEN

“Eden, Eden!”

My eyes hit the closed office door as I shuddered in my seat. I pulled my lower lip into my mouth as I hid behind the computer screen. What is going on out there!

Our office was a little crazy on any given day. We were only the most sought-after sports agency in the south. It was a great place to work. Never a dull day. Someone was always pulling pranks around the office. Well, on my floor anyway.

A heavy fist banged on my door. “Eden, I know you’re in there. I promise it isn’t bad,” Misha yelled in a southern twang.

I heard her toe tapping on the other side of the door. Running a hand over my medium length brown hair, I sighed. “Come in.”

The door flew open. Misha stalked toward my desk, then plopped in one of the two seats.

“Eden, I need your help.” She toyed with her short, red, curly locks.

Pecking away at the computer keys, I turned my attention to my marketing report. “I need to complete my assignment by end of day…” My eyes fell on my watch. “…which is in four hours.”

“Eden, this is a very important matter.”

“Misha, what could you possibly need me to do?” I rubbed my brow.

“Mr. Mavis’ secretary is out sick. The CEO can’t be without a secretary.” Her smile rose and fell.

My stomach bottomed out. “You do remember I was assigned to work on this floor when I was hired after college, right?”

She palmed her face and shrilled. “I cannot find a temp to assist him on such short notice. Please help him this afternoon. I’ll owe you big.” Her long lashes batted over her heather gray eyes.

I hopped to my feet. “God, Misha, I can’t believe you asked me of all people to help Mr. Mavis. You know our history.”

She stood next. “I know. I’m sorry to do this. Ever since Mr. Mavis’ father retired early, he’s kept an impeccable track record. Without an excellent assistant, he could lose some of that momentum. It’s important to him that he makes a great impression on clients.”

“All right, Misha. I’ll get down there.”

She gripped my arm. “Best of luck. He’s a handful.”

I nodded as I collected a pen, notepad, and iPad, then hustled down the carpeted hallway.

“Eden, it’s just four hours,” I muttered, peering at my reflection in the stainless-steel elevator doors. My free hand breezed over my navy pencil skirt.

The doors flew open, and I heard boisterous yelling in the distance.

“That won’t work. Get someone in here who knows what they’re doing. I don’t need a fly-by-night temp secretary,” he roared.

A short, dark-haired woman darted out of the glass office, clutching her hand over her mouth, sniffling.

I failed to mention Mr. Mavis was a grumpy beast. He was only thirty-five but acted like an eighty-five-year-old man who hated all people. Well, except for one person. His daughter.

Strolling into the office, I curled my fist at my side and cleared my throat. “Mr. Mavis, I am here to help.” I parked my ass in one of the two plush black leather chairs in front of his desk. Signed skateboards hung in three rows across one wall to my right. Photos of him and his father, standing beside some of the most talented athletes in the world, hung on the wall to my left.

“Who in the hell told you to come up here?” he growled, never lifting his eyes off the documents in front of him.

“I’m not leaving. What do you need me to do?” I powered up the iPad.

No one stood up to Mr. Mavis. Most feared him.

Silence fell between us.

He had a perfect view of Atlanta. Mr. Mavis could also spy on his top agents who worked around him.

“Take notes.” Mr. Mavis spun in his chair, facing the city, giving me a view of his straight sandy brown hair. Pressing my knees together, I pushed down the old memories we shared. He hadn’t always been grumpy. I guess you could say he was this way because of me. Something I had done to make him sorely mad with the universe.

My fingers skated across the screen keys as I listened to him ramble on about important information, he needed to pay attention to in order to close his next deal.

“We’ll work around the clock together to bag our future clients.”

He said all of this without laying those steel-gray eyes on me.

I trekked around the desk, coming between him and his view of the city. My blood was boiling. We couldn’t be alone together for long periods of time before…we argued and passed blame between us.

“You hate me.”

His eyes finally met my dark ones. “Your point?”

“I’ve worked on the third floor for years because you didn’t want to see me.”

He stood towering over me. “You dated my college roommate.”

The heat between us radiated off of each other.

“You got my best friend pregnant and married her.” I growled.

Mr. Mavis shook his head. “Take a laptop home. We need to continue working this evening.”

“I was only supposed to work for you for a few hours.”

A devilish smile curled his sexy lips. “You’ll work for me and complete your assignments for your current position.” Hands stuffed in his gray suit pockets, he leaned into my ear. “You were the only woman who was to be filled with my cum.”

Every inch of my body burned with need for him. “Axl, don’t,” I whispered.

“Get acclimated with your new desk space.” Axl retreated to his desk. His eyes were glued to his computer monitor again.

Axl was right. I fucked up our future together. Well, I had some help from someone else.

Stop calling him Axl, Eden.

I turned on my heels and strolled toward the massive wooden double doors.

“Ms. Parker, remind me again why you chose to work at my family’s company?”

I halted. “You promised me a job here after college.”

A low chuckle rolled from his throat. “You and I were supposed to work together. Isn’t that, right?”

“Yes, Mr. Mavis, our life took a turn─”

“For the worse,” he bit out.

His temptation serum inched closer to my nose. I felt him all around me. “You threw a monkey wrench in our plans, Ms. Parker.”

His words echoed in my ear as he stood behind me. He was dangerously close. Shivers shot up my spine. “I know, Mr. Mavis. Will there be anything else?”

“I need footage of the last two games Moses Bradshaw played. Set it up in my private theater.”

His words sounded further away. Being that close to him wasn’t safe for either of us.

“If you don’t know how to do it, ask someone.”

“Yes, Mr. Mavis.”

I stormed out the door and tossed my belongings on the huge mahogany desk. Planting my sweaty palms on the edge, I closed my eyes and inhaled, then exhaled.

I know you have questions. So many questions. Like why would I work for my ex-boyfriend who clearly hates me?

I was miserable without him. But the possibility of us ever being more than boss and employee was slim to none.

I watched him from afar for years. That was where I stayed. It wasn’t like I didn’t go on dates with other guys. I wasn’t pining away for Axl. Well, let my grandmother tell it I was in deep denial. She said I needed to clear the air with him. If I cleared the air, he’d hate me even more, if that were possible.

Sitting at the desk, I scoured his secretary’s computer for notes on how to send video footage to other TVs in the office.

My heartbeat slammed into my ribcage as my eyes fell on his three o’clock appointment, Ember. He scheduled his fuck sessions. This was too close for comfort. It was one thing to imagine him having dinner with his daughter every night. It was another thing to witness him fuck his women.

Eden, work on your marketing project and get familiar with his daily schedule.

That was a great idea.

Tapping away at the keys, I glanced between the two oversized monitors. There weren’t any fairytales happening in my head. Those flew out the window the year I returned to the real world after two traumatizing years.

I heard people whispering as they passed my desk. They were probably concerned about his secretary, who was out sick. That was understandable. Those exiting the elevator saw me first before their eyes fell on the two receptionists to the left, who sat behind a huge desk. They serviced many of the agents on this floor.

“Yeah, that’s her. I’m telling you that’s her,” I heard.

I peeked at the two women wearing expensive colorful dresses.

“May I help you?”

“It’s nothing,” the blonde-haired woman replied.

“Deana won’t say it, but I will.” The woman with massive crinkly dark hair halted before me.

“You’re her. The woman who killed his wife.”

Oh, yeah, this issue.

“I don’t have time to tell another person how I’m innocent. Bye.”

I waved my hand, gesturing for them to move along.

Crinkly hair lady peeked into the office behind me then pulled up a seat. “I don’t believe it.” She stretched her hand out. “My name is Tandra.”

Deana searched for a second chair. “If he catches us out here, he’ll lose it.”

She rolled a chair over and sat beside Tandra. I was wary of them both.

“His wife’s mother was carried away kicking and screaming. She told anyone who’d listen that you killed her daughter.”

I massaged my temples. “I wasn’t aware she came here spreading that lie.”

“Yes, one day I saw Mr. Mavis in a heated conversation with her. I ear hustled just a little. He told her to stop spreading rumors. He said what happened to Dalilah was an accident. And that you would never intentionally harm someone.”

My heart warmed. He still believed in me.

“He’s in love with you, right?” Deana asked.

Tingles swept over my entire body.

“No.” My smile rose and fell.

Not anymore.

“Mrs. Pionas told us he basically lived at the hospital. She said he wouldn’t leave until you woke up.”

“I remember seeing him when my eyes first opened.” Axl looked horrible. “He said he had to make sure I was all right, and that we needed to talk. I dozed off. When I woke again, I heard screaming. Beverlee yelled, “She killed my daughter.””

I sighed. “Axl must’ve left the door open because I could see Beverlee’s wild theatrics from my hospital bed. He looked back at me in horror then escorted Beverlee down the hall.”

“He was half human when he stayed with you. Mrs. Pionas said he was polite when he called to check in,” Tandra said.

“The moment he returned to the office; he was back to being Mr. Grumpy.” Deana shook her head.

“It was obvious he didn’t love his wife.” Tandra shrugged.

After Dalilah became pregnant with Mackenzie Axl’s father, Beau insisted he marry her. Couldn’t tarnish the brand by having a baby out of wedlock. Their marriage was a sham.

“Thanks for stopping by. I better get back to work before our evil boss catches us.”

“Evil?” he snarled behind me. Was there shock in his voice?

Tandra and Deana jumped clear out of their seats.

“Mr. Mavis, we were just welcoming Eden.”

“She doesn’t need a welcoming committee. It isn’t like she’s a new employee,” he growled.

“Ms. Parker has worked on the third floor for eleven years. If you were so interested in welcoming her, you should’ve done it then,” he bit out.

I stood. “Ladies, it was nice to meet you both. We can have lunch tomorrow at twelve thirty.”

Deana’s eyes widened, peering over my shoulder at our boss. “I-I don’t know.”

“Back to work,” Mr. Growly sneered.

The man was so bitter. I met his gaze. “Mr. Mavis, I’ll grab you a cup of coffee. Go have a seat, big guy.”

His angular jaw begged for my hand to caress it until his pink, thin lips met mine.

He smoothed a hand over his navy tie. I could’ve sworn his gray eyes twinkled before he turned, grumbling under his breath as he stalked into his office.

A small smile tugged at my lips as I hustled to the coffee station. I was probably the only woman who could calm the beast. It was only fair since I created him.

I poured the piping hot coffee in the cup, then dropped two cubes of sugar inside.

Flicking my big brown curls over my shoulder, I strutted into his office. “Here you are, Mr. Mavis.” I sat the cup on the desk.

“Is there anything else I can do for you?”

Never looking up at me, he sipped the steaming hot coffee. “No,” he grunted.

“If you need me, you know where I’ll be.” I darted out of his office.

Once three o’clock rolled around, I left for the day. I didn’t want to be at my desk when his afternoon snack arrived.
