The King Trials is here!



The king of Elthare is dead. Invitations have been sent out to the noble families to put forth a Champion to participate in the 43rd King Trials, a grueling competition that has left former competitors permanently injured, disabled or dead.

Who will be king?

Grantham Sinero, a man skilled in hand-to-hand combat and armed with the ability of telekinesis.

Andalen Amadon who can inflict pain and suffering with a single touch and is a highly trained archer.

Khett Pedgram, the former prince of Elthare, able to control the four natural elements and has an immense knowledge of the kingdom's history.

Ikar Dominikov who holds no special powers, but is a great hunter and tracker.


A kingdom at war.


When soldiers from the empire of Mezerah invade Elthare, the Trials are cut short, and the Eltharians must prepare for a war no one ever saw coming. Many lives are lost, but with the help from their allies to the north, Elthare may have a fighting chance against the Mezerans.

At the end of the Ten Day Battle one Champion will be crowned the new monarch of the now fractured kingdom.

It's been awhile since I have said anything about my new project on here.

I am currently in the middle of writing the first draft, and I am loving everything about it (right now, get back to me in a few weeks)

I have announced the title on my instagram and facebook. The novel is called The King Trials, and is a New adult fantasy with a lot of love and violence. It's about 6 people who have to fight gladiator style to become the leader of their kingdom.

I have no idea when this will be released. I am hoping for the end of 2019/ early 2020.

I am currently working on a new project that I am describing as Gladiator meets Game of Thrones.

Right now the project is called TKT. I will reveal the title at a later date.

This project is in the VERY early stages, so I do not know when it will be released, but I am very excited to share it!

So, since June is coming to an end I wanted to recommend some really awesome LGBT books that I have read for Pride Month. This list includes books where the main character falls on the LGBT spectrum:

1. Hero--Perry Moore. Hands down my one of my favorite books . About a boy who becomes a superhero.

2. Carry On--Rainbow Rowell. It's like Harry Potter if Draco and Harry fell in love, and it's a satirical look at the Chosen One trope . Do I need to say more?

3. Anything by Becky Albertelli--Favorite new contemporary author. Everyone is sassy and each book is full of honest emotion.


4. Song of Achilles--Madeline Miller. Historical fictional retelling of the relationship between Achilles and Patroclus. It's sad and sweet, and probably one of the very few historical fiction books I truly loved.


5. Luna--Julie Anne Peters. A great story about a transgender girl and her relationship with her sister.


6. The LIKE US series--Krista and Becca Ritchie. A fluffy romance about a celebrity who falls in love with his bodyguard. (Book 4 follows a straight relationship)


7. Peter Darling--Austin Chant. Awesome retelling of Peter Pan where Peter is a trans man and falls in love with Captain Hook.

8. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe--Benjamin Alire Saenz. Beautiful story of coming of age and falling in love.

9. Fan Art--Sarah Tregay. Another fluffy read about two best friends who fall in love.

10. Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue--Mackenzi Lee. Hilarious historical fiction about a lord/duke and his best friend traveling across Europe. There's pirates, adventures and so much emotion. What's not to love?
