Genre

Beatrice Sand lives in a tiny green village in the Netherlands with her husband and an adopted tortoiseshell cat called Sofie. She found her motivation to write when her niece told her there was nothing better than reading about breathtaking vampires, which resulted in The Ambrosia Trilogy, with hot, sinful demigods. Before Beatrice started writing, she worked in the tourism and hospitality industry in Spain and Portugal, where she developed a strong passion for the Mediterranean lifestyle. She loves Spanish food, lazy Sunday afternoons, and reading or writing a book that sends butterflies to her stomach.

Beatrice Sand isn't a Goodreads Author (yet), but they do have a blog, so here are some recent posts imported from their feed.

New cover and title

Dear readers of The Ambrosia Trilogy,

You might have noticed that Destined has a new title: HOUSE OF GUARDIANS

Unfortunately, the old cover with the old title is still visible, which makes it all confusing. Sorry about that. It may take some time before title and cover are matching.

Book two of The Ambrosia Trilogy is coming out soon.

HOUSE OF TERRORS

“Is this really a demigod? I don’t exactly know what my expectations were – it’s not like I have anything to compare it to. But I certainly did not expect a demigod to be walking around in ripped jeans with a beat up face and complaining about a headache. I didn’t expect someone with such sad, tired eyes. But I also know that under normal circumstances, that same face is flawless.”
Beatrice Sand, House of Guardians

“Silence drops over us again. Laurel picks up her glass and swirls the wine, smelling it with her eyes closed. She takes another deliberate sip, holding the liquid in her mouth, savoring it before swallowing. Slowly, she places the glass back onto the table as she opens her eyes. “I’ll take you up on your offer, Sam,” she says hoarsely, shoving the glass over to me.
Mixed emotions assault me as we hold each other’s gaze. I want to pull her against me, suck that bottom lip, thrust my tongue inside her mouth to taste the sweetness, anything, but I just keep staring into her eyes, nailed to my seat.”
Beatrice Sand, House of Divinity

“In one quick motion he grips my head and slams his mouth hard against mine, claiming it with brute force. My lips part to allow him access, and we crash against the column as his tongue drives deep into my mouth. He pulls back for a short moment, drinks me in greedily, and then, with a grunted curse, ravishes me with a rawness that makes my heart stutter in my chest. I realize I’m moaning as I clutch his shoulders. Never in my life have I been kissed this violently, and it hits me like a heady, intoxicating wine.”
Beatrice Sand, House of Terrors
