Having lived all her life in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, author Bree M. Lewandowski incorporates all aspects of her life in her writing. A ballet dancer at a young age, continuing to teach ballet through her career as an author, she often turns to the tumultuous world of dance to find threads of a story. In love with classical literature, her writing not only pays homage to the style of writers like Dumas and Hugo, she also believes in creating main characters who are larger than life. Yet, struggles with body image, mental and emotional health, and the strained relationships so many have also play in and out of Lewandowski's writing. In the end, all these attributes combined, she loves to tell a love story. ...more

Booke

Like, what if I told you about the books I was reading? Like, instead of squeezing out witticisms from my pores like water from a stone, I rambled on about books?

Not my own.

Right now, I'm reading Salt Redux by Lucinda Brant. It's the sequel to Salt Bride and I'm all over it. But! A book I ordered from the library, (The Bone Ships) and a book I purchased online (Midnight Marriage) just came in. I Read more of this blog post »

"This book had some serious issues that made me DNF it until I ran out of recs/epubs and sort of forced myself through the rest of it.

Hmm... Where do I begin. The pacing was completely off, the plot was trite and more full of holes than a ripped siev" Read more of this review »

"I’d probably like this book if I was 13, but that fact the grown adults love this book is mind blowing. If you like actual fantasy that expands your mind, then read at your own risk.

It is so absolutely terrible I can’t believe how many people like it" Read more of this review »

I started with Salt Bride by Brant and I was not prepared for how she yanks me through a book! lol! I didn't think regency romance could read like that.

Carol Cork *Young at Heart Oldie* Thank you for the friend request, Bree. I’m so pleased that you enjoyed my review of The Marigold Chain. Stella Riley is a fabulous author and I have read all of her books. I see you are reading Midnight Marriage. Lucinda Brant is another author whose books I love.
