Virginia Alanis was born in Allende, Nuevo León, Mexico and raised in Dallas, Texas since the age of two. She writes about family drama that entertains and inspires. Her debut novel, LOVE FIELD, was published in 2016 and chosen as a Las Comadres Book Club selection in February 2017. LOVE FIELD is being translated into Spanish. Virginia earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Southern Methodist University. She lives in Dallas, Texas with her family.
