Gregg Korrol One simple trick is to start with a pen and paper- write down without pausing and without hindering yourself, who you would absolutely love to be- wha…moreOne simple trick is to start with a pen and paper- write down without pausing and without hindering yourself, who you would absolutely love to be- what qualities, how you would handle situations, etc. Do this for 10 minutes non stop until your hand tires. When done, circle the three things you believe would have the most impact and number them 1,2,3. Rewrite number 1 on a big piece of paper and hang it up on your wall and memorize it like a mantra.
I will reference Shakespeare by saying G-d hath give you one face and you create yourself another- remind yourself that who you are is your own invention and now it's time to "add" to who you are. For the next week focus on this trait and "act" it out- it may feel awkward, you may be unsure what to say at a given moment- but fake it! This is your life! You create YOU! Don't hesitate - give yourself the gift of being who you dream of by working on it day after day. Sometimes you will fail-and as long as you see it, that's fine- keep working at it daily. You will slowly start to take on that trait. Let me know how it goes!(less)
