I started writing as therapy, so David Rivers begins Greatest Enemy similar to me when I invented him- a former Ranger, West Point cadet self-medicating through writing and BASE jumping. And of course drinking. With no fiction experience, this seemed a good place to start- so I asked the question of what would happen if he met a team of former special operations guys conducting mercenary work for a transnational criminal syndicate, but needed a BASE jumper for a particular assassination...and the rest of the story, and the series at large, resulted from me following the story after that point.(less)

Hellow Mr Kasper, just finished reading and reviewing all your American Mercenary books. Loved the lot. A question. The .454 Casull Rivers uses in the opening chapters of greatest enemy.
