I have always had a thing for tortured souls on their way to redemption through love. And all those stories portrait just that. =)(less)

Hmm... Updating Goodreads Q&A and Social Media accounts is one of the scapegoats. :P
I usually reread the previously written chapters, go through my plotlines again and just write. Even if the first 500 or 5000 words end up being discarded or in need of a huge editing, it usually sets the pace and allows me to keep writing.
And music. Music is a must-have! =)(less)

“I'd rather have a life of chaos beside you than a life of quietude and stability without you...”
Catia M Rodrigues, Dubhán Reborn

“When I read, my mind had the tendency to wander around, embroiling itself in the common points between the plots and my life, feeling empathy for the characters' inner struggles, almost as if they were merging with my personal conflicts.”
Catia M Rodrigues, Dubhán Reborn

Topics Mentioning This Author

“You cannot hide from danger. Death floats on the air, creeps through the window, comes with the handshake of a stranger. If we stop living because we fear death, then we have already died.

-Raistlin Majere”
Margaret Weis, The Soulforge

“Words can never fully say what we want them to say, for they fumble, stammer, and break the best porcelain. The best one can hope for is to find along the way someone to share the path, content to walk in silence, for the heart communes best when it does not try to speak.”
Margaret Weis, Dragons of a Lost Star

“I've always found that the most beautiful people, truly beautiful inside and out, are the ones who are quietly unaware of their effect.”
Jennifer L. Armentrout, Obsidian

“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit

“The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times.”
Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
