After a lifetime of imaginative writing (games & comics), Mark Eyles has been working full time on science fiction and fantasy novels since 2019. He’s learning to play the piano, goes running and practices tai chi. When there’s time he watches scifi, fantasy and superhero movies, and plays computer games.

Mark worked as Creative Director at videogame company Quicksilva (1981-1984); a holographer, freelance writer, game designer, and entrepreneur (1984-1999); Head of Design at Rebellion Developments (1999-2003); Course Leader and Section Lead at the University of Portsmouth (2003-2019), also completing a PhD in videogame design. ...more
