So a few of updates for you.First, the "Little Excuse Notepads" have shipped and I should have them available for sale soon.  Still working out the details of where I will be selling them from.Second, if you missed it last week, "Kitten's Tail" is available on Kindle unlimited now.  So if you are a member of that you can read it for free.  And who does not like free.Finally, look for an announcement later this week of my new mailing list.  Not sure what all will be in those emails yet but certainly my weekly blog entries and my book reviews when I do them.Okay on to something different this week.  I really like to cook.  After my love of computers it is certainly second on list of favorite things, followed very closely by writing naughty stories.  This weekend in the kitchen, which I regularly call my lab, I did some very fun things.First, I made some homemade butter, pictured on the left.  I forget how creamy, smooth, tastier it is than store bought.  My only problem is the time it takes to make it about an hour to make and rinse the first day.  And then another 30 to 40 minutes the next day to remove all the excess water.  So it is quite the labor of love but oh so worth it.The other thing I experimented with this weekend was making some cheese culture from a bit of high quality cheddar cheese.  I ground it up and put it in some milk in a sterilized jar.  It turned the milk into curds in about 36 hours or so.  And now I have a second larger scale test going with a half gallon of whole milk.  It is already setup in the container and might be ready for more work tomorrow.  Not sure how it will turn out but I am cautiously optimistic.  Where most cheeses are made with rennet to separate the curds and whey, I am relying on the natural acids built up to do this for me.

I know a lot of people have been waiting for this announcement.  This morning "Kitten's Tail" was enrolled in Kindle Unlimited.  It might take a day or two for the updates to be made so keep checking back for it.

So I am working on a little side project this week.  I made these cute little note pads a few months ago as a treat for some friends.  And they have been such a big hit, that I am going to order some more to sell.  I will let you all know when and where you can get them.And don't forget to pick up your copy of "Kitten's Tail".

I was asked about the book cover and the design on the front.  I am a DIY kind of person.  So when I needed a cover I started working on some designs.  And this was the final design that I liked.The symbol in the center is a triskelion, and is widely used in the BDSM community.   It is supposed to represent the three aspects of BDSM, bondage and discipline, domination and submission, sadism and masochism.  It can also represent one of the important principles in BDSM, safe, sane, and consensual.  And in terms of the cover it shows the underlying subject of the book.The bow represents the "Daddy/Little" aspect of the book.  That is after all an important aspect of the relationship between Kitten and Daddy.And finally, the ears and tail represent both Kitten's name and also the "Owner/Pet" aspects of the relationship between Kitten and Daddy.I was so happy with the overall design that I decided to keep it for my other books and use it as the symbol for my publishing company.

I know everyone is as excited as I am about "Kitten's Tail".  You can read the first short story on my website, "Kitten Hears a Word".

So the countdown is on, only 36 hours left until the launch of my first book, "Kitten's Tail". It has already soft launched and the paperback is available on Amazon with the Kindle version available on Thursday. I am starting to get really excited.
