Gail Gillespie Fox was born in South Africa.
She grew up with three dogs that were the foundation of her love for animals.
Her identical sister and her dreamed of working with animals one day.
Her first job was working in the music industry but her passion remained to work with animals.
While working at a music company she got a shih tzu puppy who stole her heart and was the catapult of a new career.

For 18 years she ran her own dog grooming business, a career she loved with all her heart.

In 2013 Gail joined her husband in Liberia for a work contract. While in Liberia she witnessed the enormity of the bushmeat trade which was the beginning of a new passion – to speak for those who need a voice and the inspiration to write the book, Her name ...more
