Alex M. Lacey is a Northern Writers’ Award-winning author and singer-songwriter/producer now based in South East England. Born in Jersey and having spent most of his life in the North West and North East of England, his work is deeply shaped by northern voices, humour, grit, and storytelling.

He grew up surrounded by family — and other lovable rogues and misfits — whose funny tales of misadventure, often in exotic places and under unusual circumstances, probably meant a life spent making music and telling stories was inevitable.
