“I was born in Sheffield where part of my heart still lies, of course not literally, that would be silly, but I was raised in the Midlands. In Yorkshire, we call a spade a spade and if you don't like it, duck but it's different in the Midlands, we don't use conjunctions and everybody's pronoun is Duck. I am uneducated in the formal sense of the word due to a long-term illness, and the fact that society wasn't overly concerned with educating girls back then. I have learned through life and desire how to play with things, including grammar.”
