I would like to say how incredible the FBI have been in cracking a child trafficking ring today. One of the major factors that motivated me to write The Charm of Revenge, was meeting people that had been abused by the Church when they were in foster care as children. These people, who have become friends, are now in their fifties and sixties yet still carry the scars.
The animals that prey on the innocent are a disgrace to humanity and in these moments when organizations such as the FBI break these trafficking rings, it gives a glimmer of hope that such atrocities will not continue undetected. These men and women of the FBI and other anti-crime networks are heroes, sadly, often unsung heroes, but heroes nonetheless.
