Texas and Lavender Farms
Did you know lavender farms are an aromatic addition to the limestone landscape of central Texas? I discovered this several years ago and immediately set out to write a novel that would reflect the kind of farm/shop/endeavor I could fantasize owning. Yes, if you can't do it in real life, write about it.
My new novel, Comfort Songs, tells the story of a female lavender grower caught up in the tangled roots of her family dysfunction as her parents--Grammy-award recording stars who've fallen far from grace--have descended on her farm for restoration. She's inclined to give it, if they'll cut all ties to the music industry. The will they/won't they stakes are raised when a handsome music executive tracks down the lavender farm and sets about upending everyone's carefully planned futures.
If you like small town settings, second chance romances, and family sagas in need of hope and forgiveness, then please take a chance on my newest book, Comfort Songs. Available at a variety of online and eBook locations, and honest reviews are welcomed.

Comfort Plans Goes Audio
Lining up for those who like to listen to their novels, Comfort Plans is now available on Audible. This story is of a female architect with a lot to prove. A bit of a mash up between Fixer Upper and Hallmark with a dash of History Channel on the side, its chocked full of memorable characters. I've always been a "if walls can talk" sort of tourist and this story explores that potential from start to finish, with readers knowing the context of hidden letters long before anyone tangled in the plot.
Comfort Plans was the first book in my set of novels launching from the very real, Comfort, Texas, community and I've had so much fun creating a friend group that live on long past the last page. Hope listeners click on this new audiobook and enjoy a sweet, second chances stories ripe with family drama, humor, and a do or die finish.
