Next book releasing December 2023!
I'm in the last stages of writing Coco Teal, book one of the Versilark Tales. The editing process is starting this week! I'm beyond excited to get this published to the world. I started Coco Teal when I was around 13/14 years old and finished the manuscript when I was 18. I unearthed back in March of this year expecting to have an easy editing process. At 94,000 words, I upped it to 105,000 before cutting it up into pieces. 33,000 words were left over. Now, it sits at 65,400 words and counting. The ending is very close.
This was the first fantasy I ever wrote and it's mind boggling that it's going to be published this year. Some stories just need time to simmer 😂 To be honest, this was perhaps the hardest book I've ever worked on. Not only did I gut a finished manuscript that sat close to 400 pages, I had to figure out how to bridge multiple gaps and rewrite/add so many things. It's been a challenge, but one I'm very proud of. Keep an eye out in December for Coco Teal!
