Marissa Gabrielle was born and raised in the suburbs of Minnesota. She has had a curious and imaginative mind ever since she was a little girl. Marissa has loved to read and admires many authors like J. K. Rowling, J. R. R. Tolkien and George R. R. Martin. At thirteen, she decided to use her creative mind and began writing down her thoughts, scribbling away in many journals. She’d write every day as practice and soon enough she was posting stories on websites like Wattpad for the world to read. After years of writing, at the age of eighteen, Marissa finished her first novel called Take the Risk.
